The 2025 College-Selected Activity is the completion of the jurisprudence module.
Physiotherapists on the General Register must complete the 2025 College-Selected Activity before they apply to renew their practice permit in August/September 2025.
Locate your Credentials!
An account has already been created for you in the testing site where you will complete the jurisprudence module. It is essential that you use your assigned login ID when completing the module so your results are attached to the account the College created for you. On February 3, 2025, registrants on the General Register received an email from the College containing login credentials for completion of the jurisprudence module.
Even if you do not have time to complete the jurisprudence module now, we strongly encourage you to locate and save your credentials to ensure you can easily access the jurisprudence module when you are ready to do so.
If you can’t find your February 3, 2025 email, then follow these steps to retrieve your login ID.
- Go to https://cpta.assessbank.ca/abapp/tao/PasswordRecovery
- Use the same email address that was on your Member Profile in February.
If your email address has changed since February 2025, then first update your address in your Member Profile and then contact registration@cpta.ab.ca and ask that your email address is updated in the testing site. The two email addresses must be the same.
Provisional Register Registrants
Individuals currently on the Provisional Register who will transition to the General Register before renewal opens, must also complete the 2025-College-Selected Activity. Individuals remaining on the Provisional Register for the entire 2024/2025 registration year are not required to complete the jurisprudence module, but it is strongly encouraged.
The College has also created an account in the testing site for all registrants on the Provisional Register. On February 4, 2025, registrants on the Provisional Register received an email from the College containing login credentials for completion of the jurisprudence module.
Like those on the General Register, it is essential that you use your assigned login ID when completing the jurisprudence module so your results are attached to the account the College created for you.
