This year the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta moved to a competency-based appointment process for the vacancies on council. Applications from interested candidates were collected between March 21, 2023, and April 21, 2023. The Governance Committee with the support of an external consultant reviewed all applications based on the skills matrix and selected candidates to be interviewed. Based on review of the applications submitted and interviews held with candidates the Governance Committee made recommendations to Council.
Council has appointed Jon Gabbai and William Tung to a three-year term on Council.
