Professional self-regulation is a regulatory model in which a professional group enters into an agreement with government, through legislation, to formally regulate the activities of its members. The College of Physiotherapists of Alberta demonstrates its commitment to self-regulation by publishing a report annually which outlines what we're doing in each of these areas:
- Complaints received and disposition
- Changes to registers
- Financial position
- Key regulatory activities
