Self-regulation – privilege and responsibility
Physical therapy in Alberta is self-regulated and governed. Self-regulation is a privilege not a right. It includes the responsibility to adhere to regulatory obligations and a responsibility to actively participate in the self-regulation process for the betterment of the profession, physical therapy delivery, patient care and the health of Albertans. Contact the College to learn how you can get involved.
